Quynh Nham

Quynh Nham holds the position of Vice Director and serves as a board member for a company specializing in industrial properties, ports, logistic services, warehousing, and infrastructure development in Vietnam. Since 2021, she has been actively involved with the Boston Global Forum, starting as an assistant to the CEO before taking on the role of Director of Boston Global Forum Community Development in 2023. Quynh Nham also participates as a leadership fellow of Shinzo Abe Initiative for Peace and Security, and as a coordinator of World Leader in AIWS Award Conference, World Leader in Peace and Security Award Conference, Celebration of Governor Michael Dukakis 90th Birthday and BGF Global Enlightenment Music Club. She was also a distinguished contributor to the book “From the Massachusetts Miracle to the Age of Global Enlightenment” published by Boston Global Forum in November 2023.

Quynh Nham earned her Bachelor of Commerce degree in Accounting and Finance from the University of New South Wales, Australia in 2018. Following her studies, she completed an internship in transaction advisory services at EY Vietnam. In 2019, she cofounded a startup in the beauty and personal care industry where she practiced marketing and branding before moving to the field of industrial property development in Vietnam.

In the strategies and plan to rebuild Ukraine “Remaking Ukraine – Toward an Age of Global Enlightenment”, applying AIWS City for rebuild cities of Ukraine in becoming smart cities, connecting with global cities, supporting and contributing values of global cities to the cities of Ukraine.

BGF call governments, cities, companies, universities support and help to rebuild Ukraine through AIWS City platform. Riksdag Speaker Andreas Norlen and former Latvian President Vaira Vike-Freiberga will speak at the Conference to President Zelenskyy and the Ukrainian people with the World Leader for Peace and Security Award on April 29, 2022 at Loeb House, Harvard University, co-organized by Boston Global Forum and Latvian Transatlantic Organization.

Speaker Andreas Norlen, who was honored BGF World Leader for Peace and Security Award 2021, will speak at the session 1: Honor President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy and Ukrainian People as 2022 World Leader for Peace and Security and Solutions for Peace, Security and Territory Integrity of Ukraine.

President Vaira Vike-Freiberga was honored BGF World Leader for Peace and Security Award 2019, will speak at the session 2: Rebuild Ukraine: From devastation by War to an Exemplary Nation for Remaking the World – Toward an Age of Global Enlightenment.

Andrea Gilli

Senior Researcher, NATO Defence College

Andrea Gilli is a Senior Researcher at NATO Defence College and Affiliate at the Center for International Security and Cooperation at Stanford University. Andrea has been visiting fellow at both Columbia (SIPA) and Johns Hokins University (SAIS) and post-doctoral fellow at both Stanford (CISAC) and Harvard University (Belfer Center). Andrea holds a PhD in Social and Political Sciences from the European University Institute.

 

Walter Dorn

Walter Dorn is Professor of Defence Studies at the Royal Military College of Canada (RMC) and the Canadian Forces College (CFC). He teaches officers of rank major to brigadier-general from Canada and about 20 other countries. He specializes in arms control, peace operations, just war theory, international criminal law, treaty verification and enforcement, and the United Nations.

The Boston Global Forum (BGF) and the Latvian Transatlantic Organization (LATO) co-organize a conference on April 29 at Loeb House, Harvard University to honor President Zelenskyy and all Ukrainian people with the 2022 World Leader for Peace and Security Award. BGF will present Ukraine and Ukrainian people “Solutions for Peace, Security and Territory Integrity of Ukraine” and “Strategies and Plan to rebuild Ukraine after ending the war”.

The conference will address the situation in Ukraine, and work to provide solutions for peace, security, territorial integrity and to rebuild the country.

BGF will be honoring President Zelenskyy and all Ukrainian people through assistance and application of the concepts from “Remaking the World – Toward an Age of Global Enlightenment” to rebuild Ukraine in becoming an exemplary nation.

Edward Feigenbaum, Kumagai Professor of Computer Science, joins the History of AI Board

Edward Feigenbaum is the Kumagai Professor of Computer Science and Co-Scientific Director, Knowledge Systems Laboratory at Stanford University. He made several contributions to the development of AI, becoming a co-recipient of the Turing Award in 1994. He is considered “the father of expert systems”.  Joining Stanford University in 1965, he became one of the founders of its Computer Science Departments. His bibliography includes Computers and Thought and The Handbook of Artificial Intelligence.

Professor Feigenbaum was elected to the National Academy of Engineering in 1986. In the same year, he was elected to the Productivity Hall of Fame of the Republic of Singapore. He is an elected Fellow of the American Association for Artificial Intelligence, the honorary American College of Medical Informatics. He was elected to the American Academy of Arts and Sciences in 1991. He is the first recipient of the Feigenbaum Medal, an award established in his honor by the World Congress of Expert Systems. He was elected Fellow to the American Institute of Medical and Biological Engineering in January 1994. He received the U.S. Air Force Exceptional Civilian Service Award in 1997.

On 08 April 2022, in Kyiv, 2020 World Leader for Peace and Security Award Recipient European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen visited the Recipient of 2022 World Leader for Peace and Security Award, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy met European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen and EU foreign policy chief Josep Borrell in Kyiv on Friday.

Their visit came as the European Union recalled its ambassador to Kyiv, underlining the improved security situation and the EU-27’s commitment to the beleaguered country.

Ursula von der Leyen and Josep Borrell also visited Bucha, a town outside Kyiv where Russian forces are accused by Ukraine’s allies of committing atrocities against civilians. Ms von der Leyen said, “here in Bucha we have seen our humanity shattered”.

She claimed Ukraine could become an official EU member ‘within weeks’ at an historic press conference.

On April 29, at Loeb House, Harvard University, BGF will organize the conference to honor President Zelensky and all Ukrainian people with the 2022 BGF World Leader for Peace and Security Award. At this event, BGF will contribute and discuss solutions for peace, security and, territory integrity for Ukraine, and strategies to rebuild the country.
