Every civilization leaves a record of what its people create, discover, and become. As AI reshapes human life, the Boston Global Forum is establishing The Human–AI Co-Creation Atlas, the first Atlas of the Civilization of Human–AI Co-Creation: its archive, its history, and its public record.
The Atlas documents the people, programs, values, events, and works shaping this emerging civilization across science, technology, culture, business, governance, education, health, and the environment. Its scope is global, welcoming achievements from every nation and tradition, whether or not they are connected to AIWS.
At its heart is a principle: the Atlas records what humanity has made with AI, and what people have become in making it. It looks for lasting significance, human authorship and responsibility, demonstrable human advancement, and service to humanity. Every entry must be grounded in sources and remain open to correction.
The AIWS Human–AI Co-Creation Movement holds a central place within the Atlas. Participants’ Elevation Stories and the work of Elevate Circles will document what people did, what AI contributed, how human capabilities grew, and what benefits reached others. These experiences give the emerging civilization a human face and a record that others can learn from.
The Atlas’s Founding Board is led by Honorary Chair Governor Michael S. Dukakis and Chair Nguyen Anh Tuan. Scholars, students, artists, entrepreneurs, and institutions worldwide are invited to propose entries, contribute sources, and help connect achievements across disciplines and generations.
Within AIWS Civilization, the Atlas preserves the evidence of a future being built through human purpose, creativity, and responsibility. The Atlas will be presented in full at BGF Conference 2026 on November 10 at Loeb House, Harvard University.
