On September 30, 2026, Boston time, Nguyen Anh Tuan addressed a seminar connecting Boston with Lincoln University in New Zealand, bringing an existing AIWS agenda into dialogue with the previous day’s White House meeting between President Donald Trump and Big Tech and AI leaders.

The Founder and Chief Architect of AIWS and Co-Founder, Co-Chair and CEO of Boston Global Forum welcomed the voluntary AI safety accord as an important step, consistent with the direction BGF–AIWS had already advocated: AI power must be verified, monitored, and linked to identifiable responsibility.

With its founding framework published on September 27, AIWS Trust Observatory offers an independent civil society mechanism to examine evidence, compare commitments with actions, identify gaps, and connect warnings with verifiable remedies. Tuan emphasized that independent auditing and board oversight should be complemented by the capacity of society to assess whether safeguards are working.

His address, “From AIWS to AIWS Civilization: Building a Civilization for Humanity in the Age of AI,” connected this urgent task with the Constitution for Humanity in the Age of AI and the Human–AI Co-Creation Movement—protecting people while strengthening their judgment, creativity, and mastery of AI.

Designating the seminar AIWS Civilization Table No. 1, Tuan invited Lincoln’s scholars and students to contribute research and practical projects. He announced plans to submit the dialogue’s contributions and proposals to President Trump and White House science and technology adviser Michael Kratsios.
