Boston Global Forum removes Eva Kaili from the Global Alliance for Digital Governance and Global Enlightenment Leaders
BOSTON, December 13, 2022 – The Boston Global Forum has announced today that it has decided to remove Vice-President of European Parliament Eva Kaili from both the organization’s Global Enlightenment Leaders program and the Global Alliance for Digital Governance. The decision comes after Belgian authorities arrest of Kaili over the weekend as part of an investigation into alleged bribes by Qatar.
The Boston Global Forum is committed to promoting the values of Global Enlightenment and world peace and security. As such, we have a zero-tolerance policy for any form of corruption or illegal activity.
Kaili has been a valuable contributor to both the Global Enlightenment Leaders program and the Global Alliance for Digital Governance. However, in light of the charges against her, we feel that it is necessary to remove her from both programs. The Boston Global Forum is committed to upholding the highest standards of integrity and ethical behavior. As such, we believe it is in the best interests of the organization and its members to take this action.
We will continue to monitor the situation closely and will take any further action as necessary. In the meantime, we will continue to work towards our mission of promoting Global Enlightenment and world peace and security.
