Cambridge, Massachusetts – Former Massachusetts Governor Michael Dukakis will lead a Boston Global Forum (BGF) panel of cyber security experts charged with creating the first:
“Ethics Code of Conduct for Cyber Peace and Security.”
The Cambridge symposium is the first in a series of Initiatives promoting Cyber Safety and Security.
Cyber threats have become one of the most critical global problems nations face today. Threats impact all industries—from financial institutions to healthcare—and even national security.
Boston Global Forum, a three-year-old think tank, is hosting a series of international meetings throughout 2015 aimed at educating and encouraging global citizens to promote a healthy cyber environment. In additional to the Harvard University location, delegates will participate from Los Angeles, Tokyo, Osaka, and Bonn through Web videoconference.

Boston Global Forum initiated the Ethics Code of Conduct for Cyber Safety and Security (ECCC) to identify the standards for attitudes and behaviors of every party involved, including net citizens, business leaders, policy makers, IT engineers, educators and influencers. The Code of Conduct also serves as a framework for members of Boston Global Forum’s Young Leaders Network for Peace and Security to foster ethical cyber behavior.
